Practical automation expertise
Independent, vendor-neutral control-system engineering — aimed at the problems that cost you uptime and throughput, and at the causes behind them, not just the symptoms.

Fault-finding & diagnosis
Root cause found and fixed — nuisance trips, alarm floods, lines that stop for no clear reason.
Getting more from what you have
Reprogramming, tuning and visibility that turn the system you own into more uptime and throughput.
PLC, HMI, SCADA & integration
Migrations, retrofits and integration delivered as a working, documented system.
Fault-finding & diagnosis
When a line stops for no clear reason, trips at random, or drowns operators in alarms, we find the root cause — not a patch that fails again next week.
What it covers
- Nuisance trips & intermittent faults
- Alarm floods & poor diagnostics
- Unreliable sequences & interlocks
- Sensor, wiring & I/O faults
- Drives, motors & VFD issues
- Lines that stop ‘for no reason’
What you get
Getting more from what you have
Most plants are carrying uptime and throughput they can't see. We reprogram, retune and rationalize so the control system you already own works harder.
What it covers
- Reprogramming & sequence redesign
- Loop tuning & control improvements
- Alarm rationalization
- SCADA / HMI visibility & trending
- Throughput & cycle-time gains
- Operator-friendly interfaces
What you get
PLC, HMI, SCADA & integration
Migrations off obsolete hardware, retrofits, and tying machines, sensors and data into one working system that your team can actually maintain.
What it covers
- PLC migration off obsolete hardware
- HMI & SCADA design and upgrades
- System integration across brands
- Serial & CAN bus device networks (CANopen, DeviceNet, J1939)
- Retrofits & control upgrades
- Data, reporting & connectivity
- Documentation & as-builts

Straight answers
Can you work on our brand of PLC?
Yes. Strule is independent and vendor-neutral — we work across Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Ignition, AVEVA, GE, Omron, Red Lion, VFDs and CAN bus device networks. We improve the system you already have rather than selling you a new one.
Do you do the electrical installation?
Controls engineering, programming and commissioning are done in-house. Line-voltage installation is carried out by our licensed California partners, or by your own electrician if you prefer — we hand over a clear installation scope either way.
How fast can you be on site?
Typically within 48 hours anywhere in Northern California. With ongoing-support clients, secure remote dial-in often gets a fault diagnosed the same day, before anyone drives anywhere.
Do we have to commit to a big project first?
No. Every engagement starts with a fixed-fee Health-Check on one specific problem. You get a diagnosis and a plan; the fee is credited toward the work if you proceed.
What happens after the fix?
Your call. Some sites take the documentation and run; others take scheduled reviews, remote support, or Strule Current monitoring so the next problem surfaces before it stops the line.
What does it cost?
Work is quoted as a fixed price for the outcome after the Health-Check, not billed open-ended by the hour. The first conversation is free and you will get a straight answer on whether the job is worth doing.
Got a plant that isn't behaving?
