Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Strule Automation ("we," "us") is an independent industrial controls engineering practice serving the Bay Area and Northern California. This policy explains what information we collect through struleautomation.com, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you request a resource from our library, we collect the email address you enter, and — if you choose to provide it — the plant location (city or ZIP) you enter. The location field is optional; leaving it blank does not stop you from receiving the download.

If you tick the box to join our field-note list, we record that consent along with the date and time you gave it.

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, which automatically logs standard technical information such as approximate region derived from your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use this only to keep the site working and to understand roughly where interest is coming from.

How we use it

We use your email address to send you the resource you requested, and — only if you opted in — occasional "field notes" about industrial controls work. We do not send more than that, and every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address or any information you provide with third parties for their own marketing.

Who processes it

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to store our contact list and to send email on our behalf. Your information is handled under Brevo's own privacy and security terms. We use Cloudflare to host and serve the site.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from field notes at any time using the link in any email, and we will stop sending them within 10 business days (usually immediately). You can also email us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
