Water & Wastewater Control Systems

Pumping and treatment where reliability and compliance can’t slip. Every alarm is either real or a reporting problem waiting to happen.

Water and wastewater systems run around the clock under a permit, and a control fault here is more than downtime. It can mean a spill, an unplanned discharge, or a gap in the reporting record that has to be explained afterward. That makes reliability and getting the SCADA and alarms trustworthy the actual job, more than any single fix. We work with the platforms these systems are usually built on, keep the critical assets running, and work inside whatever procurement and safety requirements the utility or plant has in place.

Pump and lift-station control, clarifiers, blowers and chemical dosing, and the chlorination or UV disinfection stage downstream are where the process actually lives, and where a loop that’s drifted out of tune quietly costs energy or chemical long before it trips an alarm. Aging PLC and RTU hardware with no support left, telemetry links that drop without anyone noticing until a report is due, and alarms nobody trusts because too many of them are false: these erode confidence in a system faster than any single breakdown does.

SCADA platform choice matters less than whether the alarms on it are trustworthy. A system built on Ignition, AVEVA or a comparable platform is only as good as the alarm rationalization behind it, and a plant that’s accumulated years of unreviewed alarms ends up with operators who’ve learned, correctly, to tune most of them out. That’s the point where a genuine incident risks getting missed inside the noise, exactly the outcome a permit-driven system can’t afford.
